Last weekend, the Scouts of Pack 89 and Troop 300, along with their families from Lovington, NM, embarked on an unforgettable adventure to Fort Davis. Nestled within the rugged beauty of Buffalo Trails Scout Ranch, they explored the great outdoors and soaked in the rich history of the region.
At Fort Davis National Historic Site, their spirits soared as they participated in a solemn flag ceremony alongside National Park Rangers, honoring the traditions that bind our nation. Afterward, they sought refuge from the sun's embrace at Balmorhea State Park's tranquil natural pool, refreshing both body and soul. As laughter echoed through the canyons and memories were etched in hearts, this weekend served as a testament to the enduring spirit of scouting and the bonds forged in the wilderness.
